You may be tempted to let workouts slide since vacation is a time for relaxing and kicking back, but keeping up with your workouts while on vacation can actually help you enjoy your time more. You don’t have to spend hours in the fitness facility each day, just do a little something everyday to get your heart rate up and keep away the guilt of sedentary life
Savor each bite. At Secrets Resorts & Spas we offer top-notch food, so take a moment and enjoy what you are eating. When faced with unlimited food and drinks it is easy to scarf down meals, but savoring each bite can actually help you maintain your weight loss goals while on vacation. Eating slowly allows you to keep track of what you are eating and helps you feel fuller with less intake because it gives your body time to adjust to the food you are eating.
Try something new. Vacation is the perfect time to try something new that may help you reach your fitness goals. Kayaking, wind surfing, sailing, and beach volleyball can all be great ways to workout while having a great time.
