Make it at Home: Banana Mama

I LOVE BANANAS! I could eat bananas all day—in my cereal, on my PB&J sandwich, banana foster for desert and of course, tropical drinks with banana.  With my love of bananas, the Banana Mama is one of my favorite vacation drinks. Check out this great recipe for the Banana Mama from Secrets Maroma Beach—one the best places to enjoy a frozen cocktail.

In a blender combine 1 cup of rum, 1 can of Pina Coloda mix, 4 ounces of pineapple juice, one whole banana, a splash of grenadine and a handful of ice cubes. Blend until smooth and pour into four hurricane glasses. Garnish with a slice of banana and some whipped cream and enjoy!
