Guests at Secrets Silversands are treated to quite the unique treat—a fish market that gives guests a preview of what will be on the menu in the evening. Each morning, fishing boats arrive on the beach of Secrets Silversands to deliver the catches of the day to the resort’s waiting chefs.
The food and beverage staff now welcomes guests to take part in the daily ritual each Wednesday. The resort’s chefs identify the fish for guests and even let them pose for pictures with some of the really impressive catches. It is a great way for guests to see first hand, what’s for dinner.

We’ll be arriving on april 24, for a 7 night anniversary vacation, and the fish market is something I’m looking forward to. I’ve never eaten shark, so maybe I’ll get a chance to try it.
