Each year the world anxiously awaits the Miss Universe Pageant and here at Secrets Resorts & Spas we get especially excited for the event! We love cheering on Miss Mexico, Miss Jamaica and Miss Dominican Republic – who each represent a country that is home to our beautiful resorts.

The final five contestants of the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant came down to Miss Mexico, Miss Australia, Miss Jamaica, Miss Ukraine and Miss Philippines. Needless to say, we were on the edge of our seats waiting for the results!

When asked their final questions, Miss Mexico and Miss Jamaica answered with ease. In the end, Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete, was crowned Miss Universe 2010 and Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillipps, was named first runner-up. We couldn’t be more proud!
