Well as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. We had so much fun at our first ever Facebook Meet-up at Secrets St James & Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay. Hundreds of Facebook fans came together, all with a similar passion for vacationing at our resorts and enjoying the beauty of Jamaica. We think “Facebook Jim” put the overall feeling of the event into words very well:
“A tremendous time was had by all. We ate, we drank, we danced, we sang, and yes, we even cried. It was a time everyone should get to experience at least once in their lives. Myself, and everyone around me was overwhelmed. Thank you Secrets for all your hard work on this event. You have set the bar high for any future FB functions.”
This may have been the first, but it certainly won’t be the last Facebook meet-up at our resort. What a tremendous time was had by all who attended! So many new friends made in person that I had spoke to only on Facebook previously. A tremendous resort, Secrets is to be commended for supporting this first ever, FB Jim’s Bash. Am looking foreward to hopefully more of these in the future, and surpass the 250 or so FB fans we had that attended! Thanks to Emilo and staff for really getting behind this and making this a huge success. Thanks to my pal Susan who worked so hard with the kids!
Have had so many PM’s and E-Mails asking me, when is the next one FB Jim? Well, are you listening Secrets? lol Can’t wait to get back. Lets get another one going in 2011 and have another great time in mobay!
