In just a little over two weeks, we will be welcoming our first guests to the all-new Secrets Huatulco Resort & Spa! As we count down the last few days before opening, we know that many of you are hoping for updates and pictures of the property as the final details come together.
Without further ado, we are happy to introduce you to Rod Gahr, Corporate Director of Entertainment and Brand Management for AMResorts. He is currently on location (yep, he has the privilege of staying at Secrets Huatulco before the doors “officially” open for business!) and will be your go-to guy for questions, pictures and information about our resort over the next few weeks. Of course keep in mind that the final days of any opening can be very busy, but rest assured he will do his best to update the Facebook page as often as possible, so check back often!
Upon arrival at the property this morning, this was Rod’s reaction in his own words:

I missed the grand opening by one week. Made reservations in February to stay at Secrets Huatulco Nov 26th-Dec 3rd. Staying at Dreams, but hope to go over to Secrets for on site view. Hope to have current photos to post
I sure would be nice if you could post some pictures of what the resort looks like now!!! We are booked there in Jan. for 10 days. Do not want to be dissapointed. Is it true that Dreams doesn’t have a swim-up pool bar?? Stayed there 20 years ago when it was the Royal Maeva. One of my best vacations EVER ( even tough I put on 18 pounds in two weeks ). NEVER been anyplace with food as good as it was then. We drank the resort out of Cream Deminte. Hope you are enjoying your vacation!!!
