Secrets Marquis Los Cabos recently hosted five of the 19 delegates attending the important G-20 Summit, which took place in Los Cabos, Mexico between June 18 and 19, 2012. The G-20 Summit is the biannual meeting that brings together government leaders from 20 major economies to address matters pertaining to the international financial system.
The world leaders who chose Secrets Marquis “Casitas” villas for their visit included: President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil, President Mariano Rajoy of Spain, President François Hollande of France, Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda of Japan and President Jacob Zuma of South Africa. Upon arrival, the delegates and their teams were personally welcomed by the Secrets Marquis General Manager Miguel Torres.
The G-20 Summit is a prestigious international forum and we fully understand the significance of being chosen amongst a select group of hotels to host some of the most important leaders in the world. To co-host this event, especially in its first foray in a Latin American country, validates the quality of the brand’s Unlimited-Luxury® concept, the high-end service and value we uphold, the exceptional standards we keep, and our position as one of the top resorts in the destination.
