    • I agree Sue….they say they are more stars than they are. At least Silversands is not worth the money. I went for my honeymoon 1 year ago next month and it was the worst experience ever. Ghetto. And, they did nothing to remedy the situation because I purchased through Cheap Carribean. CC would only give us back $100. Cheap A-holes.

  1. We were here for our 40th anniv. last year All of our kids were with us and we had the best time. The staff was great the food was great we had a great time in the swim up bar everyday and the people were great!I hope one of these days we can go back!

  2. BTW, it would have been nice if Secrets would have taken any responsibility for screwing us out of our money and a wonderful honeymoon. They didn’t. Plus they tried to sell us a “timeshare” vacation under the impression it was a no hassle “presentation”. We went through 5 different people till they figured out we knew their scam. Who would pay $7000 for an opportunity to book a room and still pay the fee?

  3. Have visited both Silversands and Capri. They are both amazing! Great food, amazing staff, beautiful luxerious rooms! Silversands had more restaurants and more pools, Capri was smaller and in my opinion prettier with a better beach. I loved both resorts and can’t wait for my next secrets vacation! Strongly recommend both resorts I visited.

  4. Been to Mexico at six times and Silversands is the best. No timeshare pitch (for us anyway), wonderful service, people, food and drinks. Not sure how some folks had a bad experience, but after visiting so many places, we’ve already booked Silversands a second time!

  5. Stayed at secrets silversands in March. Staff were amazing. We’ve been to secrets huatulco, Valentin and excellence and found the staff really stand out at silversands. Dining was better at the other resorts but we found the food good. Planning on secrets huatulco or silversands in January.
