Ah, fall. The weather cools down, the leaves start changing and it’s time to go back to the grind and lose that lax summer attitude. SEPTEMBER

September 4th – Monday Night Football Tailgate Kick-Off Party
Are you ready for some football?! Every Monday night, we’ll be having American-style tailgate parties with plenty of food and fun – but it all begins with a huge tailgate kick-off party on Thursday, September 4th. This party, in honor of the first game of the NFL season, will be celebrated with a big party on the beach including tailgate food and drink favorites and activities all day long!

September 16th – Mexico’s Independence Day
This is a great day to be in Mexico (or one of our great properties in the Dominican Republic)! Celebrate the colorful Mexican heritage at ALL of our resorts with a huge party all day and long into the night with games, activities, food, drinks and more – the ultimate Mexican fiesta!

 

OCTOBER

All October-Long – MLB Playoffs & World Series
Join us during the MLB Playoffs & the World Series games throughout October and you’ll get to watch the games on the beach (weather-permitting) or big screen TVs with a complete array of snacks, beer and treats! Baseball-themed games and activities throughout the day will get you excited to see every pitch.

 

October 13th – Canadian Thanksgiving Day
A traditional day of celebration for all our guests – especially our Canadian ones! Join us for an incredible day of celebration with special events and activities, then end the day with a Thanksgiving Feast and a special menu in our restaurants!

October 31st – Halloween
Enjoy the spooky antics at Secrets Resorts & Spas for this centuries-old tradition! Theme parties begin early in the day with pumpkin carving, costume contests and more. A special Halloween ball at night with entertainment, food and fun is not to be missed. Don’t forget to bring your costume for this festive bash!

 

 NOVEMBER

November 20th – Mexican Revolution
¡Viva la Mexico! November 20th marks the beginning of the Mexican Revolution and as night falls, the party begins. Dancing, drinking and all-day fun mark this Mexican Tradition. In the late evening the party really starts rolling!

November 27th – America’s Thanksgiving Day
No need to worry about traveling during this holiday. At all Secrets Resorts & Spas, Thanksgiving feasts are part of the package! The day begins with the telecast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. As the sun sets, guests will enjoy a phenomenal world-class Thanksgiving feast prepared by our talented chefs, plus all the trimmings including pumpkin pie and cranberries. And, of course, we’ll have all the football games broadcast throughout the day!

 

FALL-LONG SPOTLIGHT

Oktoberfest is Back!
If you missed out on this October-long celebration last year – you need to make it to one of our resorts for this German food and entertainment festival! Enjoy authentic German dishes – such as brats, sausages, pretzels with beer cheese, pastries and more. An array of refreshing German beers will be waiting!
