The worst vacation of my life and I have been on a lot. The humitiy in the room so so bad the floors, windows and mirrors was covered with water. Got hut and they sent a doctor and a paramedic but spoiled days of vacation. Room service broke a brand new bottle, over $300.00 of men’s cologne and they denied it. Said I was the only one that could of done it. No room service in two days? Jack hammering by the pool every day. Food good in only a few places. Asked to go to their resort in Cancun and was told if not filled over 80% it would be $300.00 per person. Their resort was so far from Cancun we felt like we had been stranded. We got the premier package and nothing made us feel like it was not even customer service. Customer service just did not care. They never gave me a comment card like everyone got.
The Resorts they have all over is the Riu Palace. The one in Playa Carmen where we stayed many times was the greatest. We went to about 6 of their resorts there and there was no charge. Did not have the problem of being hurt and telling us to lock our cologne in the safe. Never was told they wanted $300.00 to go to another of their resorts. This place was the best and went to it many time with friend. All the help there were nice and kind and even remembered us on returns.
