This month, we’re thrilled to feature a guest blog from one of our members, Carrie E.! Carrie and her husband, Parker, recently returned from their third Secrets vacation, this time to Secrets St. James Montego Bay. Our love affair with Secrets Resorts started when we got married at Secrets Capri just over two years ago. At that time, we were the largest wedding they had hosted, and our experience was nearly flawless.

Since our wedding, we have spent our one-year anniversary at Secrets Playa Mujeres, and most recently our two-year anniversary at Secrets St. James in Jamaica.

Secrets St. James is part of a private complex which includes the sister property Secrets Wild Orchid. The resort was riddled with seating areas to take in the gorgeous view of the ocean or their well manicured landscape. From our welcome cocktail to the anniversary treats in our room, our every need was catered to.

Secrets Society member Carrie E. loved the plentiful comfortable seating and stunning ocean views at Secrets St. James Montego Bay. 

As far as our favorite thing about Secrets Resorts overall, I’d have to say the fact that they are adults-only.  It’s a nice feeling knowing there is a certain level of maturity at the properties and the fact that we can really be on our own schedule for the duration of our stay. Room service, dining out, bars — knowing everything is taken care of and that you’ll have an array of options is so nice. We love not stressing about having to be somewhere at a certain time and can be as busy or relaxed as we choose!
