Chantal T. and Jean L. arrived at the resort to celebrate their recent engagement. During their stay, they signed up for the contest “La voz de Secrets” with the entertainment team since they both love to sing.

Upon arriving at the rehearsal for the show, they made it clear that they were big fans of rock music, especially the bands Guns N’ Roses (Chantal’s favorite) and Pearl Jam (Jean’s favorite).

After the couple won the singing competition, the team decided to surprise them by serenading them on the beach. Lorena, our entertainer, asked the guests if it was possible to take a souvenir photo on the beach and they happily accepted. When they arrived for the photo, the entertainment team was waiting for them in the gazebo, which they had decorated with guitars, a heart drawn on the sand, a legend that read “Just Engaged” and a huge LOVE sign.

Efrén disguised himself as Slash from Guns N’ Roses and played the guitar alongside Rene’, who was playing the flute. The rest of the entertainment team was in charge of singing backup for the Guns N’ Roses songs and our guest, Chantal, sang at the top of her lungs!

In addition, the resort presented Chantal and Jean with a cake that had the logos of their favorite bands, which they absolutely loved! The team of seamstresses also made a blue garter belt for the bride, as is tradition, to give something special for her big day.

The resort toasted with the couple, who truly appreciated this unforgettable experience Secrets Akumal had put together, and mentioned they couldn’t wait to return for their honeymoon!
