Mr. and Mrs. S recently visited Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya with their son, Mauricio, to celebrate their 37th wedding anniversary. During their stay, while participating in some activities held in the pool area, the family excitedly told Entertainment Team members that they were celebrating a special milestone. Immediately, the Entertainment Team devised a plan to create a surprise, memorable moment for the guests to help make their anniversary unforgettable. Together with the couple’s son, the Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya Entertainment Team organized a romantic dinner for Mr. and Mrs. S at the resort’s Chef’s Table. However, they decided to take the surprise celebration to the next level. They worked to create a touching video in which several members of their family appeared, wishing the loving couple a Happy Anniversary and congratulating them on reaching such an impressive milestone together.

With the support of the property’s audio and visual engineers, the team and Mauricio then projected the commemorative video in the Theater area. Mr. and Mrs. S were very impressed, but the surprise did not end there. A dance in the center of the theater’s stage followed, and the couple was accompanied by waltz music, beautiful lights and a spectacular, colorful smoke show.

The couple were so grateful for the memorable moments the Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya team created for them that they could not resist their tears of happiness. They continued to graciously thank everyone for the remarkable surprise.
