Three Secrets Resorts & Spas Recognized For Excellence!

Congratulations to three of our Secrets Resorts & Spas for continuing in the tradition of ensuring a fabulous Unlimited-Luxury® getaway!

Secrets Marquis Los Cabos, Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun and Secrets St. James Montego Bay were each recognized with a spot on the 2013 Condé Nast Gold List! In addition, Secrets Marquis and Secrets Maroma Beach earned their places on the T+L 500 List!

Each year, Condé Nast Traveler’s Gold List highlights the best travel experiences throughout the world based on visits, reviews and the overall experience that guests have had at the particular resort. In the Mexico region, Secrets Marquis was called the “jewel of Cabo” in its Gold List review while Secrets Maroma Beach is said to be a “bit of Caribbean heaven” in its review. For both resorts this is the second year in a row making the Gold List. In the Jamaica region, Secrets St. James joined the club as a Gold List Newcomer!

And the honors don’t stop there! Secrets Marquis and Secrets Maroma Beach were also awarded a spot on the Travel + Leisure 500 list, a compendium of the top-rated hotels around the world. And the best part: the list is based on Travel + Leisure readers’ choice selections!

Four Secrets Resorts & Spas Receive Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards

Congratulations to the Secrets Resorts & Spas that received the 2012 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards: Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun, Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun, Secrets Marquis Los Cabos and Secrets St. James Montego Bay!

Secrets Maroma Beach and Secrets Capri were both named among the Top 30 Resorts in Cancun and the Yucatan. Secrets Maroma Beach was ranked number five on the list with an overall readers’ choice rating of 93.8, while its rooms scored a fantastic 97.7 rating! Secrets Capri came in at number 16 with an overall rating of 87.3. One reader commented “Love this hotel. Small, cozy, great food and wonderful beach.”

Secrets Marquis ranked eighth among the Top 15 Resorts in Baja with an overall rating of 88.5 and a room rating of 97.4! “Most definitely my favorite hotel,” said one reader. “The staff knew me by name, my preferred drink and snacks by the second day. All the rooms have fabulous views. I slept well listening to the ocean on the most comfortable bed! I had 4 spa services and each one was more excellent than the previous! Fabulous!”

Secrets St. James was named among the Top 30 Resorts in the Caribbean, coming in at number 15 with an overall ranking of 88.7. A reader called it a “beautiful, adults-only resort.”

Three Secrets Resorts & Spas Awarded Travel + Leisure Awards

Travel + Leisure’s 2012 World’s Best Award winners were announced in this month’s August issue and we are thrilled to announce that three of our Secrets Resorts & Spas were featured!

Secrets Marquis Los Cabos and Secrets Maroma Beach were both ranked in the top 20 as “Top Resorts in Mexico.” This is the second time Secrets Marquis has earned this award and the debut for Secrets Maroma Beach.

Secrets Wild Orchid Montego Bay was ranked among the top 25 as “Top Resorts in the Caribbean, Bermuda, and the Bahamas.” This is the first T + L World’s Best award for Secrets Wild Orchid.

Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards winners are chosen based on readers’ choice polls based on a number of characteristics and categories.
