At Secrets St. James Montego Bay, we love finding that perfect tropical drink for you to sip on while you bask in the sun. We decided to host a friendly competition between all of our bartenders to see who could create the best beach cocktail. The results were quite delicious!

Make it at Home: Dirty Monkey

One of the most popular drinks at Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun is our Dirty Monkey. Whether you are relaxing by the pool, lying on the beach or enjoying cocktails before dinner, it’s the perfect drink to set the mood for your vacation.

For those of you who’d like to re-create a piece of your vacation at home, here’s our recipe for the Dirty Monkey! 

Ingredients:

1 oz. of rum
½ oz. of coffee liquor (Kalhua)
1 oz. of coconut cream
2 oz. of pineapple juice
¼ of a fresh banana

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together with a cup of ice for 30 seconds. Decorate the glass with chocolate syrup and enjoy!
