Celebrating ‘Earth Hour’ at Secrets Resorts!

We’re so thankful for the gorgeous, natural beauty that surrounds our resorts which is why Secrets Resorts & Spas are committed to preserving the earth! This past Saturday, March 28, all of our resorts participated in ‘Earth Hour’ a worldwide event where participants turn off all power for one full hour from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. We had a blast celebrating this important and meaningful holiday! In honor of #BeachThursday, we’re thrilled to share some of our favorite moments from the ‘no lights’ festivities!

Thanks to everyone for helping us celebrate!

Earth Hour at Secrets Capri

At Secrets Resorts & Spas, we believe in working toward a sustainable future. For that reason, Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun participated in Earth Hour this past Saturday, March 31st. At 8:30pm, the resort turned off all of their lights for one full hour. However, before the official shut down of lights, The Entertainment Team at the resort put on a fabulous party beginning at 7pm, which included:

  • A delicious dinner
  • A live saxophone player
  • A fun-filled fire show
  • And a performance by the world’s greatest singing impressionist, Mike Walker.

Guests surely did enjoy themselves and we’re already counting down until next year’s Earth Hour!
